Hey there princess!
Some people claim that Mondays are the worst days of the
week, but I beg to differ. Mondays are full of possibilities, and give you the
opportunity to set the pace for the rest of your week.
What better way to start off you week than by eating
something delicious and relaxing by the big screen? Don’t have time for these
shenanigans today? No problem! Bookmark or print out this page and save it for
the weekend!
Clueless and Red
Velvet Cake Balls
Boys. Clothes. Popularity. Whatever.
A little on Clueless:
This flick is for any fashion-loving female. It is an
updated version of Jane Austen’s Emma, and sticks pretty true to the
original story (but with shorter skirts and tighter tops. This movie is known
for not only influencing the world of 90’s fashion (over 53 different types of
plaid were used in this production), but also for inventing a whole new genre
of teen slang.
In fact, one of the promotional items distributed to tie-in
with the film was a booklet called “How to Speak Cluelessly.” In it was a
lexicon of many of the invented terms used for the Clueless world. An example:
a Baldwin is a very handsome male, as in the famous sibling actors.
Red Velvet Cake Ball Recipe
1 box red velvet cake mix and ingredients listed on back of
box
1 package cream cheese frosting
1 package white melting chocolate
1 sheet wax paper
sprinkles!
After following the instructions, and baking your red velvet
cake, pour the contents of your cream cheese frosting onto the cake. Mash cake
and frosting together until you have reached an even consistency. Place pan
into the fridge (just shove all of your chocolate dipped strawberries and Diet
Dr Pepper out of the way), and let sit for an hour.
Take pan out of the fridge and roll mixture into one-inch
balls. Heat melting chocolate and stir. Dip balls into melting chocolate until
they are, like, totally covered. Remove (I use a fork) and place on wax paper.
Put sprinkles on balls while they are still wet. Festive colors work best.
Share with your friends, family, and, of course, the people
of your kingdom. You never know when your prince in disguise might be in need
of a little sugar rush.
I’m Audi!
YOUR RED VELVET CAKE BALLS ARE DA BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
